Collection: Vehicles & Transport

Cars rarely just drive from one side of the room to the other. There are roads to build, passengers to collect, emergencies to attend, deliveries to make and, inevitably, a traffic jam somewhere along the way.

Vehicle play gives children a familiar starting point for creating their own stories and exploring how the world around them works. As they push, roll, race and manoeuvre cars, trucks, trains and planes, they’re developing fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination and an early understanding of movement, direction, distance and cause and effect.

Add roads, tracks, play tiles, signs and scenery and the possibilities grow even further. Children begin planning routes, solving problems, building environments and connecting different elements of their play, while developing spatial awareness, language, creativity and storytelling skills along the way.

From realistic vehicles to completely imaginary journeys, sometimes a few wheels are all they need to get an adventure moving.
