By eight to ten, kids are ready for a little more challenge. Their interests are becoming more defined, their thinking more complex and they’re increasingly drawn to activities that let them create, experiment, compete and work things out for themselves.

Explore strategy games, challenging puzzles, science and technology kits, creative projects, building sets and hands-on activities that encourage critical thinking, problem-solving, concentration and independence. This is also a brilliant age for discovering hobbies, mastering new skills and taking on projects that require a little more patience and persistence.

The play might look different as they get older, but there’s still plenty to discover, create and get completely absorbed in.
